Volunteering with Frome Community Bike Project

If you’re interested in volunteering with us we have a range of roles and opportunities. There’s a lot of interest from the community which is brilliant, but it does mean we can’t always accept everyone to become a volunteer, however we do try to ensure that people get the opportunity. Frome Community Bike Project Director Role:

We are seeking two new Directors. Rather than advertise for a particular role, we are keen to hear from anyone interested in being part of our team and exploring what skills and interests you might be able to bring to the board. This is a really exciting opportunity to get involved and shape the direction of Frome Community Bike Project, ensuring that we continue to support our community to choose to travel actively, sustainably and healthily both now and in the future. Saturday workshop volunteers:

We are looking for more people to help us at the workshop on a Saturday between 9:30am and 1pm. We open more like a shop on a Saturday chatting to people about what we do and selling our refurbished bikes. If you’re interested in this role please contact Emma for details: emma@fromebikeproject.org

We use an app called Spond to communicate with volunteers since we have a vast range of roles and interests within our volunteer team. Spond allows you to join the sub-groups that interest you and within those groups you’ll be invited to join relevant sessions and events. You can then accept or decline the invitation in the Spond mobile app or on the Spond website.
