Saturday 14th June 1-4pm: Dr Bike and cycling advice Find us at the lively and hands-on Green Hacks Day, where you’ll find a community of expert makers, fixers, growers and doers running workshops, demos and much more – all ready to share simple ways to live more sustainably. We’ll be there offering free bike safety checks and advice with our mechanic plus we’ll have maps, accessories and cycling advice from our friendly volunteers. Find out more about the event here.
Wednesday 11th June 4-7pm: Bike maintenance drop in Stop by our workshop on Station Approach for answers to all your cycling questions! Learn how to fix minor issues with our mechanic and pick up maps, accessories and advice from our friendly volunteers. Plus fun kids’ activities!
Sunday 22nd September 2024 12:30-3:30pm: Dr Bike and smoothie bike We’ll be at the Frome Lions Ride Kids Ride event at the Old Showfield offering free bike safety checks and free smoothies for those who still have the energy to make the pedal powered blender work!
Saturday 21st September 2024 10am to 4pm: Bike Jumble We’re clearing out our containers and selling everything from parts and accessories to clothing and bikes. We will have a selection of bikes that are finished and ready to ride away along with frames and wheels for anyone looking for a project. Come and have a rummage, find a bargain or a rare part, chat to our volunteers about what we do and even find out about getting involved.
Saturday 10th August 2024 12 to 4pm: Dr Bike We’ll be joining Frome Town Council at their 50th Birthday Party at Victoria Park offering advice and free bike safety checks. Bring your bike along for a free bike safety check and advice. Minor adjustments will be made and advice given, but further work or major repairs are not included in the free check.
Wednesday 3rd July 2024 9am to 3pm: Dr Bike and cycling advice We’ll be outside Frome Medical Practice offering advice and free bike safety checks. Bring your bike along for a free bike safety check. Minor adjustments will be made and advice given, but further work or major repairs are not included in the free check. We’ll also have maps and information about getting out and about by bike.
Wednesday 12th June and Saturday 15th June 2024 10am to 4pm: Dr Bike Bring your bike along to our workshop for a free bike safety check.
Saturday 8th June 2024 9am to 3pm: Bike Sale, Dr Bike and cycling advice We’ll be at the Frome Saturday Market outside the library with a selection of bikes for sale and offering advice and free bike safety checks.
Sunday 19th May 2024 9am to 5pm: Dr Bike and cycling advice We’ll be at the Frome International Climate Film Festival at the Cheese and Grain offering advice and free bike safety checks.
Monday 6th May 2024 12pm to 5pm: Dr Bike and cycling advice We’ll be at the Mells Village Fete offering advice and free bike safety checks.
Bike Sale Saturday 16th March 2024 9am to 3pm We’ll be at the Frome Saturday Market outside the library with a selection of bikes for sale and offering free advice and bike safety checks.
